Quick Sand Riders (“QSR,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects the privacy of users of QSR Mobile.

This Privacy Policy explains the types of information that may be collected through QSR Mobile, how that information may be used, and the choices available to users.

3. Member Directory

Authorized users may have access to a private QSR member directory.

Profile information designated as visible to members may be displayed within this directory.

Some information may be classified as private or administrative and will not be displayed to other members.

GoodBarber's Authentication system allows profile fields to be configured with different visibility levels, including information visible publicly, privately to the user, or only to the application owner. GoodBarber

4. Emergency Contact Information

Emergency contact information is collected, if applicable, for legitimate member safety and administrative purposes.

QSR does not intend for emergency contact information to be displayed publicly or within the general membership directory.

Access should be limited to authorized persons with an organizational need for the information.

5. Membership Dues and Payments

QSR Mobile may provide links or QR codes directing members to third-party payment services such as Cash App.

When a user leaves QSR Mobile to complete a payment through a third-party service, the payment is governed by that service's privacy policy and terms.

QSR Mobile does not itself collect a user's Cash App password, banking credentials, debit-card information, or similar payment credentials merely by providing the external link or QR code.

QSR may separately maintain appropriate records showing that membership dues were received.

6. Service Providers

QSR Mobile is built and operated using technology provided by GoodBarber.

GoodBarber may process technical and personal information necessary to provide application functionality on QSR's behalf. GoodBarber describes its customers as responsible for their end users' information and GoodBarber as a processor when handling that information for the app operator. GoodBarber

Other third-party providers may process information when users voluntarily access their services through QSR Mobile.

7. Device and Technical Information

The application platform or associated service providers may process certain technical information such as device information, IP address, operating system, browser information, application usage, connection logs, diagnostic information, and identifiers necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, or improve the application. GoodBarber identifies these categories among information that can be processed through its services. GoodBarber

8. Push Notifications

QSR Mobile may send push notifications when users have enabled notifications.

Notifications may include information concerning rides, meetings, events, announcements, reminders, membership matters, community activities, or other QSR information.

Users may disable push notifications through applicable device or application settings.

9. Location Information

QSR Mobile will only use device location information when a feature requiring location is enabled and the appropriate permission has been granted.

Users may control applicable location permissions through their device settings.

10. Photos and Media

Users may voluntarily provide photographs or other media for profile or QSR-related purposes.

QSR may also display photographs or videos from club rides, events, charitable activities, and other QSR activities where QSR has an appropriate basis or permission to use that content.

11. How Information Is Shared

QSR does not sell members' personal information.

Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to:

Operate QSR Mobile
Provide requested application functionality
Work with service providers acting on QSR's behalf
Protect QSR, its members, users, or property
Investigate misuse or security incidents
Comply with applicable legal obligations
Respond to lawful governmental or judicial requests

Member information designated for the QSR Brotherhood Directory may also be visible to authorized QSR users according to the access settings established by QSR.

12. Data Security

QSR takes reasonable measures to protect information under its control.

However, no mobile application, electronic transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should protect their passwords and immediately report suspected unauthorized account access.

13. Data Retention

QSR retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for membership administration, application operation, organizational records, legal obligations, dispute resolution, security, or other legitimate purposes.

Information no longer reasonably necessary will be deleted or otherwise handled in accordance with applicable requirements and QSR's record-retention practices.

14. Access, Correction and Account Deletion

Users may request access to or correction of applicable personal information associated with their QSR Mobile account.

Users may also request deletion of their QSR Mobile account and associated personal information, subject to information QSR may lawfully or legitimately be required to retain.

A request to delete a QSR Mobile account does not, by itself, constitute resignation from Quick Sand Riders or require deletion of independent organizational records QSR is lawfully entitled or required to maintain.

Account and data requests may be submitted through the contact method provided within QSR Mobile.

15. Children

QSR Mobile is not intended to knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without appropriate authorization or another lawful basis.

If QSR learns that personal information from a child was collected improperly, reasonable steps will be taken to address the information.

16. External Links

QSR Mobile may contain links to third-party websites, payment services, social networks, booking systems, maps, merchandise providers, or other external services.

Those services operate under their own privacy practices. Users should review the privacy policies of those providers before submitting information.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

QSR may update this Privacy Policy when application features, organizational practices, service providers, or legal requirements change.

Material changes will be reflected by updating the date displayed at the beginning of this policy.

18. Contact QSR

Questions, privacy requests, corrections, or account-deletion requests may be submitted to Quick Sand Riders using the contact information provided within QSR Mobile.
